For the Izegem plant, they are currently on the look-out to engage a production technician.
Functieprofiel
As a production technician, you are responsible, together with the shift leader, for achieving the planned production:
- You carry out mold and color changes as directed by the shift leader.
- You troubleshoot technical issues with injection machines, robots, peripheral equipment, and raw material suction systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical).
- You optimize processes in consultation with the head technician.
- You maintain the daily logbook, perform technical administration, ensure process control, and strive for TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
- You perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- You are therefore responsible for all technical operations within your team!
Functie-eisen
- You have an A2 (technical) diploma in electromechanics or demonstrate equivalent experience,
- you have proven experience as a technician in the automotive industry and with injection machines (plastics),
- you speak and write good English,
- you are an EU resident and you live in or are willing to relocate to our region (West Flanders/Belgium),
- you work in a two-shift system (5 AM - 1 PM / 1 PM - 9 PM from Monday to Thursday, 5 AM - 12 PM / 12 PM - 7 PM on Friday).
Aanbod
- Fremach Izegem offers you an immediate permanent contract with a very attractive base hourly wage (€17.55 - €19.9852), supplemented by a 10% shift premium, group insurance through the Metal pension fund, travel allowance, eco vouchers, a year-end bonus, and vacation pay.
- It’s a full time contract (39 hours a week*) with the allocation of 10 compensatory days of rest (6 unpaid + 4 paid) (over a one-year reference period) and 10 paid public holidays (over a one-year period) on top of your annual holiday entitlement (max. 20 days/year).
- After 12 months, a salary increase follows, provided a positive evaluation is received.
